Description : Parallels Desktop® 13 for Mac is the fastest, easiest and most effective solution for running Windows applications on the Mac without rebooting.
Without any effort, switch between applications for Mac and Windows, run Windows applications from the Mac Dock,
use Mac gestures in Windows applications, and copy and drag objects between applications for different operating systems.
Due to its high performance, you can run common Windows applications, such as Explorer and Microsoft Office,
and even the most demanding graphics applications without any performance penalty.
You can even use the virtual voice assistant Microsoft Cortana on a Mac computer.
– Exit the program completely
– delete the licenses.xml file in the following way:
ps this usually happens if before this was installed trial version of the program
If the result is not, which is not obvious, you can try the following option “Uninstalling PD13”
2. Ensure that the contents of the licenses.xml file in the / Library / Preferences / Parallels folder correspond to the following:
<Licenses schemaVersion=”1.0″ dyn_lists=”Keys 1″>
<Keys id=”0″ dyn_lists=”Key”/>
<KeyDates dyn_lists=”KeyDateItem 0″/>
<EncKeyDates dyn_lists=”EncKeyDateItem 0″/>
<ActiveModes dyn_lists=”LicModeItem 0″/>
You can open it with any text editor (for example, TextEdit). In case of inconsistency, the file must be deleted. If the file is missing, no action should be taken.
3. Make sure that you restarted the Mac after completing steps 1 and 2. This is especially important when using step 2.
4. Try to uninstall Parallels Desktop using a script, you can find out more in the spoiler “Uninstalling PD12”.
To work around the problem with startup, issue the following
sudo /Applications/Parallels\ Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/service start
After that, you can open Parallels Desktop and fix the settings
To fix this, run the command before installing the add-ons:
New Parallels Tools have no support for 32-bit architectures. This means that even after you unlock 10.6 support by EFI patch, the OS won’t boot after installing Parallels Tools by default.
To fix this, run before installing Parallels Tools:

You can uninstall Parallels Desktop with the uninstaller
